Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines, currently one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, has been providing excellent services to its customers through its business class services which has helped the airline grow through the years and reach 291 destinations across 116 countries globally. This is the largest destination network for any airline globally.

As expected, Turkish Airlines has been chosen as “Europe’s Best Airline” for the sixth consecutive year* in the 2016 Skytrax World Airlines Awards. Skytrax is the most respected global airline passenger survey organisation in the industry, and its World Airline Awards described it as “the Oscars of the aviation industry”, demonstrating Turkish Airlines’ continued commitment to the passenger satisfaction and development within the industry.

What makes Turkish Airlines stand out is their high quality on-board service – by providing good quality and adjustable seats, in addition to some amazing Turkish hospitality and delicious meals which have all been key factors in allowing passengers to have a great air travel experience, resulting in a significant sales growth of business class seats over recent years.

Comfort is priority for Turkish Airlines. The seating in the plane includes a fully flat bed with a warm blanket and pillow, creating a great sleeping area, in addition to a USB port with a place to plug in headphones if the passenger would like to listen to music or watch a film.

Dining during the flight would begin with serving beverages, consisting of a choice of tea, coffee, juice, soft drinks, or mineral water, followed by a delicious full course meal, which would include appetizers, the main dish and dessert. All flights have a dedicated in-flight chef to cater to the needs of its business class passengers.

Since all long-haul flights have one stop at Istanbul, it is a must for passengers to experience the Turkish Airlines flagship CIP Lounge which can be accessed by business class travellers at Atatürk Airport, one of the largest airport lounges in the world. The lounge consisting of two levels with unique architecture shows influences from the Ottoman and Seljuk periods of Turkish history. The lounge serves four thousand passengers per day, with enough seats to cater to a little over a thousand guests at a time.

My favourite lounge is the Turkish Airlines CIP Lounge which provides all the much needed amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, snacks, comfortable seating, and entertainment options ranging from televisions to newspapers and magazines. Other exclusive amenities include a prayer room, billiards table, library, cinema, and children’s room on the upper level and a slot car racing course, video game consoles, and golf simulator, stage, allowing enough options to fit the needs of all the people who fly through the airport.

The amazing business class services has helped the airline in successfully launching several key flights in 2016 alone, which include Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kosice, Slovakia; Bogota, Columbia’s capital; Panama City, Panama; Atlanta, USA; Cluj, Romania; and Hanoi, Vietnam.

Through the expansion of these new flights, Turkish Airlines showcases its commitment to continuously providing its customers with the best possible services, which is also evident through its fleet of 333 aircraft.

Turkish Airlines’ aim has always been to add more destinations and a global offering of the best in-flight and on-ground services for its customers. Its ever-growing fleet helps connect the world to the main hub, which is Istanbul, Turkey.
